Job Description

As Resident Engineer / Project Manager / Construction Manager , you will have overall responsibility for the progress of the design/ Supervision development in accordance with the Project Management and Construction Management Scope of Services.

Construction Manager will be responsible towards establishment of the project delivery strategy, planning, Contracts, administration, schedule, cost control, management and coordination throughout the project.

Responsible for the overall management of all administrative, commercial and technical services required for the management of the project. Provide management, planning and control and handling of cost and contractual matters and assist, support or report to the Client and DC Management, in addition to liaison with the Client, the Consultants/Contractors and the head office.

Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, architect representative, subcontractors, safety, etc.

Plan, coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s).

Authorize/approve all project personnel transactions, purchase requisitions, change requests, etc.

Ensure all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, etc., are adhered to. Interpret policies as required.

Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required.

Drafting and reviewing all correspondence and get them signed by the client’s PM.

Preparation for and attendance of technical and progress meetings with different parties, preparation and distribution of minutes of meeting.

Guide the preparation and issuing of progress reports for the Client, including charts and photo documentation, which show the progress of the project.

Ensuring timely acceptance of shop drawings in coordination with Design Manager and the carrying out reports and other documentation required for the project.

Monitoring and reviewing cost control and invoice
approval based on actual progress at site.

Ensuring that the accuracy of all payment invoices from the contractors are punctually checked, certified for payment and given to the Client.

Approve and sign all variation orders and make sure that all MS,QCP, ITP, RA and records are submitted by Contractors are reviewed by all disciplines and verified against project requirements
